TOYCARGEEK has the pleasure of offering for sale this exquisite 1:43 scale replica of the spectacular 1933 Duesenberg SJ Arlington Torpedo Sedan “Twenty Grand”. One of the most famous Duesenbergs of all time, it was designed by Duesenberg's legendary chief stylist Gordon Buehrig, and built atop a supercharged SJ chassis by Rollston, Inc., of New York. It was completed for display at the Century of Progress Exposition, better known as the Chicago World's Fair of 1933-34. Its exorbitant price tag for the time of $20,000 gave it the nickname "Twenty Grand".

This museum-quality replica is one of only 200 pieces from B&G Historic Line (HL-9) created/hand built with EMC. This model was extensively researched, with photographs and measurements taken directly from the real car at the Nethercutt Collection in California, USA. It is officially recognized by the museum and is authorized to display “The Nethercutt Collection” logo.

The cast resin body is finished with PPG automotive paint, and detailed with 240 individual parts fabricated from resin, nickel-plated cast brass, and photo-etched metal. This stunning replica can fit in the palm of your hand with wheels that are roughly the size of an American dime! It comes complete with a genuine wood plinth, numbered plaque, and acrylic display case.
