1966 Plymouth Barracuda Friction Promo (Pre-Owned)

NOTES SPECIFIC TO THIS ITEM:

Overall very good condition with glossy finish and clear windows.

Some light scratches on top and rear window

Left taillight is loose.

Right taillight bezel has some missing chrome.

Some details have been highlighted with silver paint.

GENERAL INFORMATION ON PROMOS:

I have inspected this model and have done my best to list any issues that may not be obvious from the photos. I always take responsibility for errors and omissions in my listings, so if you happen to note something that I have missed, feel free to let me know.

In addition to any specifics called out above, please keep in mind the following general notes:

These promos are typically between 40 and 60 years old.

They have been handled by multiple people, and have likely had multiple owners over the course of the last few decades.

"Excellent condition" does not mean "perfect". Ever. Assume every item will exhibit light wear.

I will not specifically note any defect that requires a magnifying glass to see. I will not document minor scratches or scuffs that are light enough to be polished out. I may not specifically note any defect which is obvious in the photos.

Promos are made of plastic, not titanium. Plastic ages and wears. ALL are GUARANTEED to have small imperfections that are usually too small to show up in photos. THESE ARE CONSIDERED NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR AND/OR AGING. Imperfections may include, but are not limited to minor scratches, scuffs, fading, surface unevenness, hairline cracks, stress cracks, sink marks, yellowing, dust, wax residue, light corrosion on metal parts, and damage to screw heads. ALL are likely to have some spots where the chrome has worn off and/or faded.

The item in the photos is the exact item you will receive, and everything that is included in this sale is shown in the photos. 

All computer monitors render colors differently, so if you have any questions about the actual color of the item, please ask. Many vintage promos (of all colors) are subject to yellowing over the years, so the color of the promo listed here may not be the exact color that it was originally. Pale blue models sometimes look a little greenish. Also, it is sometimes very difficult to pinpoint the exact original color of a vintage promo that appears off-white, pale yellow, or tan (due to normal age-related yellowing). No returns allowed based on the "shade" of a color not being precise. If in doubt, ask questions.

These items will be VERY carefully packed in a double box to help avoid shipping damage. I am a collector too, and I know how precious these items are! All shipments will be insured against carrier loss and damage. NOTE: Insurance does NOT cover loss or damage AFTER the item is delivered. For this reason, ALL shipments valued at $100 or more will have a signature required to assure you receive your item. You may request to omit this at your own risk by contacting me at the time of payment. 

Handling time can be up to 3 days from the receipt of payment. Shipping time is in addition to the handling time.
